Therapy, or talking about past trauma or our current life stressors is a stigma in many cultures however, symptoms of trauma are making its presence in our daily lives as Indigenous people. Many are suffering from addiction, depression, anxiety, and other mental health conditions all stemming from historical trauma. Remember, our native ways are nurturing, and our traditions fully support a well-balanced life (mentally, physically, spiritually, and emotionally); talking to a therapist or counselor will help one to work towards balance in all areas of life. Healing from our past is a huge step in making change for our future generations.

YOU. ARE. REZILIENT.
